"I can't believe ten years passed this fast," I said, looking at Selen as we sat in the living room of the Living Quarters.
She has changed a lot since the day we met. Right now, she no longer resembles a child in any way whatsoever. Her height stopped at 170 cm tall, but that's the only thing that stopped growing as her other 'assets' developed beyond my expectations culminating in 94-57-96, a nearly hourglass figure.
Girls with cat features are usually lithe, but that doesn't seem to be the case for her. The best way to describe her is as soft and fluffy, as her body has just the right amount of fat in addition to her womanly curves.
In addition, her tail grew a lot, resembling more that of a snow leopard than a house cat, with how long and fluffy it was. She lets me touch it from time to time, and it's a truly heavenly experience.
As for the other changes, her hair now reaches her butt, with a part tied into two tails falling on her shoulders. Her clothes, previously a light-blue knee-length folded dress, white socks, and blue Mary Jane shoes, at some point got swapped into a far more 'troublesome' outfit.
She started wearing a light gray 'virgin killer' sweater that, despite leaving her back wide open, also functioned as a skirt and a black pantyhose accentuating her legs.
I don't understand women. I always thought we were like siblings, so why is she wearing this kind of outfit? We spent a lot of time together and cuddled on multiple occasions, but that's it. That kind of behavior should be typical even among siblings. I never considered myself dense, but with how little she says outside of explanations, I don't know how to decipher her intentions.
"Pervert," she muttered with a soft, slightly mischievous smile.
"Says the person wearing this type of clothing," I countered while moving my eyes away in slight embarrassment.
"They are very comfortable. It's your fault for being horny," Selen replied, her smile unchanged.
"I can't help it, okay!" I exclaimed. "I am a grown man that spent the last ten years in abstinence. To make it worse, someone I considered a sister developed in a way perfectly fitting my tastes. Why do you have to make controlling myself harder?" I explained in self-defense and asked.
Hearing that, she turned her face slightly to the side.
"Who asked you to hold back..." she muttered, her beautiful big sapphire blue eyes flickering for a moment.
"Eh?" was the only sound that left my mouth.
Eh? Is she saying what I think?
Deciding it was better to get my face scratched than lose such a great opportunity, I extended my hand and made her face in my direction. Then I leaned in for a kiss with our eyes locked, but as our lips were about to meet, we closed them. At first, it was a bit clumsy, but as we kept kissing, we gradually got the hang of it.
Knowing she felt uncomfortable lying on her back, I pulled her on my lap instead of leaning further and 'pinning' her to the sofa, and then...
*Ping*
A screen popped out accompanied by that annoying sound, destroying the mood.

Selen stood up and left the room with her mood visibly worsened, something indicated by her tail swaying in annoyance and dropped ears.
Instead of following her, I went toward the kitchen. The best way to deal with her anger is to cook something delicious.
Let's make a chocolate cake and a bunch of other sweets.

After an incredible amount of sweets, Selen's mood finally improved.
It wasn't enough to continue where we left, but she was willing to explain to me the new functions of The Orb.
"Let's start with the Challenge Room," I proposed as we stood in the central room and looked at the entrances to the two new rooms.
"The Challenge Room has two functions. The first allows you to increase the level and grade of all skills, excluding innates. Each day, you will receive a chance to use it. The uses stack up, so if you enter after a week, you will have seven tries." Selen explained.
"How exactly will it allow me to increase the level and grade?" I asked.
"As the name suggests, you will be assigned a challenge. If you can overcome it, the proficiency of the skill will increase," Selen replied.
"What about the second function?" I inquired.
"The second function allows you to awaken an innate every five years, under the condition that your proficiency with all the other innates reached an adequate level," Selen answered. "Inside, you will find a set of nine doors. Starting from the left, they lead to nine tests responsible for mind, body, spirit, emission, absorption, mitigation, creation, manipulation, and sensory innates. These tests are what will help you in developing your innate abilities. Also, you can't exit the test until you pass. However, you can awaken only seven of them, excluding The Orb," she explained further.
"Wow, I never expected it to be this amazing," I commented.
Innates, at least the ones we awaken ourselves, are a kind of abilities that are impossible to take away from us. Another plus of these is that, with enough mastery, you can even mitigate or outright ignore some of the laws governing the records. Everyone has the potential to develop these abilities, but without the right stimulus, it's nearly impossible.
"If I can't exit a test, does it mean my body in the outside world will stay in a coma?" I asked worriedly.
If it has an obvious drawback like that, I won't be able to use it for a long time.
"No," Selen replied. "The space inside the tests has a different rate of time. The time dilation is so massive that it's nearly like the time has stopped on the outside," she extrapolated.
"I see. What about the Workshop?" I asked.
"Inside that room, you have everything you may need to make a powerful weapon or accessory. Similar to the library, you have to start from lower-quality materials before you can use the advanced ones. You can create as much as you want, but you won't be able to take your creations outside the room," Selen explained.
"Is it only for practice then?" I asked.
"No. Once you get the required materials, you can bring them inside the Workshop, and it will automatically assemble them based on what you created inside," Selen replied.
"So, it works like unlocking a new recipe in a game?" I inquired.
"Yes," she confirmed.
"Every function of The Orb could be an amazing cheat on its own," I commented, once again realizing how lucky I was to have them all.
I looked at Selen with a big smile and said, "As always, thank you for your work. I don't know what I would do without you."
Hearing that, she left toward the Living Quarters without saying anything, but I could see her tail curl up from happiness.
Now then, let's have a look at the two items I received.

That's exactly what I dreamed about as a swordsman!!! With an Asauchi, I can create a zanpakuto that is perfect for me, and with the quality of my energy, it will be able to cut through anything.
The sharpness of the zanpakuto is based on the quality of the spiritual energy. Since Origin is the purest form of all energies, it means my sword will be the sharpest.

After taking a long nap, I woke up in a markedly better mood.
I still felt a bit pissed off by the stunt Matrucks pulled on me, but at the very least, now I know Selen's true feelings. I will secure another opportunity with my own hands!
There are also the incredible rewards I received. Even excluding the number of Shop Points and the two new functions, everything else should be enough to compensate me for that prank, and I have no proof he planned it. The notification came at the exact time I appeared in this world ten years ago, so it's reasonable to think it has been set up beforehand.
Let's forget about it and focus on the more important matters.
First, I decided to enter the Training Room and test out the zanpakuto.
I pulled it out of the inventory and started going through the stances of [Breath of Heaven and Hell] to familiarize myself with it.
"Amazing..." I muttered to myself.
Everything about the blade seemed to fit me perfectly. It wasn't too long nor too short. The weight was just right, and I felt no discomfort while holding it.
"Time to see how sharp it is," I said and instantly summoned the strongest training puppet I fought.
Training puppets are artificial beings generated by the Training Room. I prefer to use them in the form of robots and golems, but they can take on any shape. The Training Room can emulate any environment, and its only minus is that it has no time dilation function, so it wasn't much of a surprise when I tried to create an artificial opponent and succeeded.
The first time I tried to fight against a puppet resembling a human, I passed off after experiencing the feeling of cutting through flesh and getting covered in its blood.
To adapt to it faster, I started creating monsters that each time resembled humans more and more. It was a lot easier since humans rarely feel guilty about hurting beings they consider ugly, and these would make the ugly-bastard tag look pretty.
After shaking my head to get rid of these wayward thoughts, I took a proper stance, and the puppet did the same.
Then, I took off like a rocket creating a massive sonic boom while preparing to perform a slash with both of my hands. In contrast to my expectations, despite the puppet's attempt at intercepting my sword with its own, I passed through it as if nothing had happened.
I looked back at it in confusion, but after a moment, I understood what transpired, as the upper body of the puppet, together with half of its blade, fell to the ground.
"Holy shit!" I exclaimed.
I knew that the sword would become sharp due to the influence of the Origin, but not THAT sharp.
"Just a golem won't be enough to test it..." I commented and took a glance at my current status.

I went a long way from what I was able to do five years ago.
Firstly, my stats already reached the Level 3 threshold, despite my Potential and Existential Level still being stuck at the pinnacle of Level 2. As these two only show how easy it is to advance and how much influence you have over the world around you, they don't prevent me from reaching Level 4 or 5 stats if I put my mind to it. However, it also shows me that it won't be that hard to awaken my next innate, and the only thing I need is the right stimulus.
Secondly, all my skills are in the upper grade of Level 2 or higher. In particular, my [Inner Energy Flow] is near the peak of Level 3. It's mainly due to how easy it is to control the Origin while it remains inside my body, as The Orb helps me keep my form stable. The opposite can be shown by looking at my [Outer Energy Flow], whose Level and Grade are the lowest among all my skills. Due to Origin being even above Level 7 energies, I can barely control it with the help of [Indomitable Will] due to my existential level being significantly lower and the record itself trying to absorb it to grow.
The Training Room emulated it without my knowledge, and once I turned it off, the difference was astonishing. It was like everywhere I spread my energy became a part of me. It was a level of control only a god possessed in their domain.
Lastly, I learned [Healing Magic] and [Curse Arts]. The first one is to help others if they become sick or if an accident happens, as well as to be able to fight longer. If I can heal my wounds during a fight, then I will be able to keep going as long as my head isn't blown off.
As expected, I learned [Curse Arts] to help Latifa. I am still lacking, but in around five years, I should be able to lift her curse. It will also be useful once I meet an enemy not worth killing but still deserving a punishment.
"I will fight some more, go to meditate in the library with my sword, and then go to the Challenge Room," I muttered to myself.

After crossing the door to the Challenge Room, I found a circular room with nine sets of different doors with strange runes and symbols. At the center of the room was an ancient-looking altar set on a platform. The room was dim, with a white floor and eight columns surrounding the altar, and upon closer inspection, I realized runes covered them as well.
The walls were pitch black, and the dim light made it impossible to see the ceiling.
"As I previously explained, these nine doors, starting from the left, lead to nine tests responsible for mind, body, spirit, emission, absorption, mitigation, creation, manipulation, and sensory abilities," Selen said.
"Why are there still nine doors? I already awakened my Spirit innate, didn't I?" I inquired.
"Yes, but you can still use it to improve and develop them further," Selen replied.
"I see," I said and started pondering which innate to awake.
After a while, I got left with two final choices, Body and Perception. The first would enhance my existing capabilities, while the second would increase my precision and likely allow me to see the world in a new way.
"Let's go with the Body. I would rather enhance what I already have than another ability to train," I said and moved towards one of the nine doors.
"Good luck," Selen said with a slight smile.
"Thanks, see you in a moment," I replied and crossed the door, disappearing from the Challenge Room.

Upon crossing the doors, I entered an empty, black room, then the doors disappeared after closing, and the black room turned into a forest.
Around me was nothing but an endless expanse of trees and bushes, while above my head, through an opening between tree branches and leaves, I could see the fragment of the beautiful blue sky.
Both trees and all the plants around me were a lot bigger than the ones I was used to, reminding me of the forest seen in Naruto.
"Well, I guess having some fun can't hurt," I muttered and jumped at the nearby tree.
Or at least I tried to, as, soon after, I had a passionate kiss with the ground.
"What the hell..." I grumbled while massaging my face, then started exercising to check my body's condition.
After a while, I concluded that all my abilities got significantly reduced. This included my skills, as I couldn't use anything other than [Healing Magic], and even that seemed to be straining my energy reserves. To add insult to the injury, the [Indomitable Will] also got sealed.
What can be the theme of this challenge? Survival?
Deciding to shelve such thoughts for later, I focused on what's important at the moment.
While it's still a day, I should look for a place to spend the night. Tree branches aren't my favorite place to sleep, and I need to look for a source of food and fresh water.
I stood up and started walking.
After a few hours, the only thing I found was a humongous tree. It was around a hundred meters tall, and its trunk had a radius of roughly five meters. Despite having an opening big enough for 3 people to enter, around 30 meters above the ground, the tree was still alive and full of vitality.
I started climbing the tree to check if the opening was inhabited.
Now that I think about it, the forest was eerily quiet and devoid of any life. Perhaps the animals ran away because I was too loud.
I shook my head to regain my focus. After the [Indomitable Will] got sealed, my old habits of brooding over everything returned.
The inside of the tree was filled with moss that gave off a green light. Besides the moss, some mushrooms, and a few plants there was nothing. No bugs and no traces of it ever being inhabited.
Ok, this becomes creepy. I can understand animals, but even bugs?
*Sigh* I guess I won't find anything better for home.
With that in mind, I decided to climb to its peak to get a look at the surrounding forest.

"What do you want to watch today?" I asked Selen, both of us resting on the couch in the living room inside The Orb.
She sat close to me while eating the snacks I prepared. She had on a light blue baggy blouse which still failed to conceal the impressive development of her body, and a pair of white shorts. Her hair was tied in a low ponytail with her moon-shaped hairpin.
At first, I couldn't bring out anything from the Library, but once I asked Einlion, he told me that it was a part of his agreement with Matrucksa. He agreed to give access to his Library to the owner of the Orb, but if I wanted to take anything out, I would have to make a contract with him. In the end, he allowed me to take out anime and movies in exchange for a favor he would ask me one day.
"Let's watch How to Train Your Cat," she replied flatly.
"Seriously..?" I asked incredulously.
It was an 'interesting' real-life version of How to Train Your Dragon, where instead of the big, fire-breathing lizards, the Vikings had to fight with equally big cats possessing bird-like wings. They were also capable of breathing fire, electricity, or poisonous gasses, so the only difference from the original was their appearance.
The Vikings weren't spared as well. Instead of being regular humans, they had animal ears and tails. Men possessed more bear-like and wolf-like treats, while the women were more feline-like. The only exception to that rule was the main character, Fluff Haddock. In contrast to the other boys his age, he was much lither.
The event of the story went roughly the same, with him managing to shoot down a Night Fury to impress the village and befriending it later on. What made it different from the original were the ages of the main cast, hovering around 16 years old, and some adult content. Let's just say the dragon-cats weren't the only ones trained...
"Do you have anything else in mind?" Selen asked.
"No, we can watch it," I replied, slightly shaking my head.
Then, I took a more comfortable position on the couch and started the movie while Selen snuggled closer to me and placed her head on my chest, starting another movie session.

"Wow! You are really good at it!" Latifa commented with a smile, seeing how easily I made croquettes next to her.
"I am often helping out at home," I said.
While I did help at home, it wasn't why I was good at cooking. That has to be attributed to Selen's pickiness when it comes to food.
There were also the books chosen for me by Einlion, which taught me how to cook and provided plenty of recipes to try out.
"I see," she replied while making her own and humming.
We continued for a few hours until we met the quota for the day and moved to another room.
The room we moved to had a table with sweets on top and a cozy-looking sofa, and a few armchairs around it. Everything was placed on one giant fluffy carpet covering nearly the entire floor. Next to the couch, on the side opposite the entrance, laid several boxes with games we usually played together.
"What do you want to play today?" Latifa inquired while sitting down on the sofa.
"Strip poker," I said while wiggling my brows.
"Where did you even hear about that?!" Latifa exclaimed with a red face.
"I overheard Macaron talking about it," I replied with a smile.
I knew about it from my past life, but it wasn't a lie that I overheard Macaron talk about it with Tiramy.
"Mou! These two!" she exclaimed angrily with a pout.
"I guess that's a no," I commented. "Also, you are cute when you are angry," I added with a smile.
After hearing that, Latifa's anger turned again into embarrassment.
"At times like this, I don't know which of us is older. You really fooled me during our first meeting," she commented, her cheeks still red.
"I found you alone and crying. I just wanted to help, and it was the fastest way to get your trust at the time," I replied with a wry smile.
It was only a matter of time until Latifa realized how mature I was, and my weekly visits made it even easier. My growing frustration over the way I had to act didn't help as well, ending in her realizing the truth after three months. She obviously didn't know I reincarnated, but she changed her treatment of me.
"I know," she said and smiled at me.
*Knock**Knock*
A knocking came from the door, and four girls entered soon after.
"Sorry to interrupt~!" said Muse in a sing-song tone.
Despite being a fairy, at first glance, she looked like a teenage girl of average height, with her elf-like pointy ears as the only indication of her true nature. She had short silver-white hair, emerald green eyes, and a pair of sizeable mammaries. To sum it up, she was an attractive woman. She wore a blue shirt containing inner white frills, a short skirt, a blue wristband and necklace, flat navy shoes she used to dance, and fake insect-like lings on her back.
"Hello~!" cheerfully said the girl following her, Sylphy.
She had pointy ears, blonde hair, and blue eyes and wore two blue ribbons on both sides of her head. She was a bit taller than Muse, and her dress had a big blue ribbon bow underneath her rather sizeable boobs, just above where the dress began to open and flow out. Underneath, she wore blue shorts with white sandals. She also had a pair of fingerless gloves and fake insect-like lings on her back.
"It's nice to see you again," said calmly and respectfully another girl following behind Sylphy.
Her name was Kobory, and she had long, brown straight hair with flower clips, pointy ears, and brown eyes fitting with her fairy of earth position. She wore a forest green open shirt with puffed, long sleeves over a white corset dress. She also had two daisies above and beneath her modest breasts and a pair of wings containing perfectly circular holes of various sizes.
"Yo," said the last fairy in a laid-back manner.
It was the fourth and the last member of the Elementario, a quartet performing dances and songs focused around fairies and four elements. Her name was Salama, and she had ruby eyes and short ginger hair with a yellow gradient going towards the fringe and tips of her hair. She wore an orange fire-themed halter dress that pronounced her breasts. They were rather modest but still larger than Kobory's. She also wore a red choker with a yellow ribbon, red shoes, and a red armband with a bow. Her wings looked ragged with pale red ends and small round holes.
Due to all four girls being dancers, they had well-developed legs and posteriors, which was quite an eye-candy for a thigh-believer like me. Not to mention I get the opportunity to admire them nearly every time I visit Latifa, as playing games with just the two of us soon got old. Unfortunately, only Kobory wore stockings, but I will do my best to change that.
"Arthur~!" Sylphy exclaimed as she jumped at me and started nuzzling against me with her cheek.
"Hey Sylphy, it's nice to see you again," I replied while patting her head.
Something similar happened the first time we met, as it seems the fairies are drawn to me because of the purity of the Origin. They are attuned to nature, and in their eyes, I am just like a walking congregation of the purest natural energy.
The other three also greeted me, and then we all sat down, as, in contrast to the free-spirited Sylphy, they had some restraints.
"So, what are we playing today?" inquired Muse.
"I would like to try playing the King's game with you," I replied. "Latifa didn't seem to be up for strip poker, so I guess we will go for something tamer," I added with a mischievous smile.
"If you are this perverted at your age, I am scared to imagine what you will be like once you grow up," commented Salama with a wry smile.
"Blame Tiramy and Macaron. I heard them talking about it, and they didn't mind providing details." I explained and shrugged, not caring for the punishment the two perverts would likely receive.
"Of course, it's them *Sigh*," said Salama.
"So? Do you want to play King's game?" I inquired again.
"Ok," said Muse.
"Sure," said Salama.
"I don't mind~," said Sylphy.
"Nn." nodded Kobory.
"Just keep it tame, please. Nothing perverted is allowed," said Latifa.
"Of course," I said, and soon after, we started specifying the rules.
