After calming down, Latifa decided to help me find my mom and brother.
I wonder if these two air-heads even realized that I was gone?
"Once again, thank you. I am still not feeling that well, so I will call my uncle to help you." Latifa said and smiled gently at me as she pushed some kind of button on a nearby table.
"Don't mind it Latifa-onechan! If you want to, I can come here at least once a year to hug you and share my happiness!!" I said with a happy smile, trying to sound innocent.
"I would be happy if you do," she said as her smile became more prominent.
"Consider that a promise! I am sure that in the next few years, I will be able to lift that curse of yours!" I exclaimed yet again.
Though, having to pay every time I want to meet with her may be inconvenient. Hmmm, I have an idea.
"I am certain of that." she nodded.
"Ah!" I exclaimed as if a sudden realization dawned on me. "Could you prepare a special ticket for me?" I asked, trying to perform my best puppy eyes. "It would allow me to enter this park as often as I want to. I don't want to ask my parents for money whenever I want to see you." I explained with a 'troubled' expression.
"Hmmm, this may be a good idea. I will do something about it." Latifa replied.
"Thank you Latifa-oneechan!" I exclaimed while hugging her, receiving a blush as a response.
At that moment, another person entered the room. He looked like a brown mouse with a green hat, red ribbon, and big light brown eyes.
Oh, right, that Bonta-Kun rip-off is her uncle. (A/N: Bonta-Kun is a character from the series Full Metal Panic and they look pretty much the same)
"You called me, fumo? Eh?! What is this kid doing here, fumo?" Moffle, her uncle, questioned.
"It's good to see you, uncle Moffle. That is Arthur. He helped me with the curse and prevented the memory loss." Latifa explained with a big smile plastered across her face.
"Really, fumo!?!" Moffle asked in disbelief, but his voice was full of hope.
"Yes. Could you please help him find his family? It seems he got lost before coming here." Latifa confirmed and asked.
"Ok, fumo." Moffle nodded while crossing his hands.
"Latifa-oneechan, if your uncle was there, why were you alone at such a time? Isn't it better to stay with your family at such times?" I asked with an 'innocent' and 'confused' expression.
I don't understand how could he leave her alone at such a time. This makes me a bit pissed off.
"It's not my uncle's fault!" she exclaimed, trying to justify her uncle's actions. "I... just wanted to stay alone... I didn't want to make him feel bad because of seeing me in that situation..." she said while lowering her gaze.
Great! Now I am the asshole! I shouldn't have asked about that.
"I am sorry for asking... Please cheer up." I said with 'teary' eyes.
"What an insensitive brat, fumo," Moffle commented.
"I don't want to hear that from a Bonta-kun rip-off," I said while directing a cheeky grin at him and using a trick to prevent Latifa from hearing it.
What will you do? I am just a kid. You can't hit me.
"Fumo!?! You little cheeky...!" Moffle exclaimed while clenching his fists as if he wanted to strangle me.
"Uncle, why do you shout at him like that? If you do it again, I will never talk to you again!" she asked and threatened with a pout. "Please, just take him to his family already," Latifa added.
After that, we went to the office for the park's staff members, from which we informed my mother about my location using the speakers spread around the park. They arrived after a few minutes, and as I thought, up until they heard the announcement, they were unaware of my disappearance.
Seriously, how can an adult be so irresponsible?
After that they gave me a special ticket, telling my mother it was a special prize and we returned home together.

In the days following my meeting with Latifa, I started learning about curses, how to make and remove them, and healing techniques. Other than that and focusing more on training my innate not much changed.
A month passed since then, and thanks to the ticket, I visited her each week. I have to say that her croquettes are amazing. At this rate, I may fall for her, and the simple fact of how cute she is doesn't help it.
The new function I unlocked was a bit of a disappointment. As of now, there aren't any quests that would catch my interest. There is also a list for hidden quests, but it's mostly filled with question marks, as the name and details appear only once it's finished.
Today my father decided to take us to the park, but it's the regular one. As such, he had no problems putting Mikan in a stroller and taking her with us.
While I would prefer to do something more productive than play around with kids, unless I want to become an outcast, I have no other choice.
They are the generation I will have the most contact with, so while I play with them, I may as well become their 'leader'. There always was that one kid that others would follow and listen to, which is exactly what I want to achieve. I decided to do this around a year ago, so at this point, I already got what I wanted.
It wasn't that hard. I am more athletic than other kids due to The Orb's influence and have memories of my past life, which is why I know many games we can play and usually know answers to their questions, basically an elder brother role.
How The Orb influences my childish form is a bit special.

My speed and strength are restricted unless I ask Selen to unlock them. It's an anti-measure against me harming others unconsciously, as the difference in size from what I am used to makes it a bit tricky to control my full abilities.
After playing with other kids for a bit, I realized something.
Right now, there is one kid with messy, black hair and lightly tanned skin that others avoid without any real reason. There doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary about him. I have never seen him here up until now, but I am not staying here the whole time.
"Hey! Saruyama, come over here for a second!" I called out to one of the boys.
"What's wrong, boss?" Saruyama asked after getting closer.
"...I told you not to call me like that... We aren't a gang or anything similar." I commented.
"Hahaha, I know. I just like to tease you like that. Everyone else does as well, hahaha." Saruyama replied, laughing his ass off.
I will do something about that cheeky grin of yours later.
"Who is that kid? Why no one wants to play with him?" I asked, pointing at the boy.
He gives me early Naruto flashbacks.
"Hahaha, see? You are already acting like a boss, hahaha." Saruyama commented and burst out laughing again.
"Ugh... Just answer me, please." I said, feeling tired from this conversation.
"No idea. My parents told me not to play with him. Others are probably the same." Saruyama shrugged.
"But why?" I asked further.
"They said something about his parents being bad people or something like that?" Saruyama replied, scratching his head.
"Sigh... Thanks anyway. I owe you one." I said and directed my steps towards the lone boy.
"No problem boss, hahaha." Saruyama said and, under my wrathful gaze, ran away.
I will strangle him one day.
"Hey, I am Arthur. What's your name?" I asked the kid after getting close enough.
"I am Raku Ichijō." he replied, visibly surprised at someone approaching him.
Seriously? Even Nisekoi is a part of this world? Wait, wait, wait! I still have to make sure, right? It may be just a coincidence.
"Perhaps, your father is a yakuza...?" I asked, trying to confirm my suspicions.
"Eh!? How did you know?" Raku exclaimed in surprise.
Welp, it's him.
"*Sigh* Just a guess. Do you want to play with us?" I proposed.
"Really?! But, I don't think others want to play with me..." he said, visibly distraught.
Being a son of yakuza is hard, isn't it? These two scary-looking guys looking after you from afar are also a problem.
They hid well, but after all this training, it was easy to detect their intent being put on me and track it back.
"Don't get so pessimistic. They won't refuse if I ask them, hahaha." I smiled brightly and started laughing.
If you guys want to call me a boss, I may as well act like one. Maybe this will change your mind.
After that, I took him to the other kids, and while they were reluctant at first, they quickly changed their minds and forgot what their parents told them. That's what happens when children start playing. They forget about everything.

"Arthur, Rito, I don't think you should play with that kid. From what I heard, his father is a bad person, so it's dangerous for you two." our father said on the way home.
"Eh?! But why!? He is our friend!" Rito protested.
"Dad, I don't think we should ignore him just because his father is a yakuza. He's a kid like me and Rito. He just wants to play and have friends." I protested.
My parents are used to how mature I am. They just attributed it to a high level of intelligence.
On the other hand, I act a lot more childish around Latifa since that makes me look cute, and she spoils me.
"*Sigh* I know this too, but still... I am just worried about you two." Saibai replied while holding one of his hands on his forehead as if fighting a headache, realizing he can't change my mind.
"Dad, how would you feel if I was in his position?" I asked, pulling the guilt card on him.
"Ok, ok, I get it. Just make sure that while you play nothing happens to him. Children can get hurt easily, and if he gets hurt, it may become big trouble." Saibai said in defeat.
"Don't worry, I will manage it somehow, hahaha," I replied showing a confident smile.
From that day, we played more and more with Raku. He quickly became friends with us and started coming over to our house, and as could be expected, other kids we usually played with soon warmed up to him as well.
I guess the only ones unhappy about it are the parents but it's not my problem.

Tenku Plateau is a big meadow located on the city's outskirts, and it's also a popular tourist spot due to its calming nature and beautiful views.
Thanks to it being located not that far from Raku's house, it's also a place we frequently use to play whenever we come to visit him.
Well, if not for the people constantly following Raku, we wouldn't be able to go around the city so freely. After all, we are still a bunch of five-year-olds.
Today was one of such days.
The giant stones spread around the Tenku Plateau make it a perfect place to play tag and hide-n-seek, as some create labyrinthine structures while others are more spread out. That, accompanied by far more scarce trees and shrubbery, makes it hard to get bored of that place, even for me.
As a child, I loved constructing 'bases' and 'forts'. I did it inside the house, in my backyard, or close to the forest. Sadly, by the time I could do something decent, I was too old to play like that, but now I can do it again.
Time to make the best hideout in history!!!
I was brought back from my reverie by the quickly approaching presence. Rito did his best to move fast yet quietly, but even if I was blind and deaf, detecting him would be easy.
Not wanting to waste his efforts completely, I started moving towards Saruyama while leaving some hints behind.
Despite my protests, he still keeps calling me boss as if we were a part of a gang or something similar. What makes it even worse is that he made all the other kids think it's a cool idea, and they can annoy me as a bonus.
There is some fault on my side as well since I am openly taking charge whenever we are in a group and even protecting them from being bullied by older children, but that doesn't mean I want them to call me that.
This is just one of many acts of revenge waiting for you!
"Got you!" Rito exclaimed, jumping on an unsuspecting Saruyama.
"How?! I hid so well this time!!" he exclaimed.
"That's a secret! You are the first one, hahaha!" he laughed, aware that it was my doing.
He was a bit envious of me since, from his perspective, I do nothing but sleep all day, and yet I am faster and more intelligent, but due to his innate kindness, it did not develop further.
I also tried my best to be a good brother once he became two years old and we could interact, so while he was envious, he held quite a bit of respect for me.
After selling Saruyana, I returned to my previous location and waited until Rito managed to find everyone else.
"One person left!" Rito shouted, making sure I will be able to hear him.
Since it would be boring if only the seeker could win, or if the game lasted hours because he couldn't find anyone, we decided on some additional rules. First, the game would always last 20 minutes at most. If someone could stay hidden until then, it would be their win. Second, if only one person is left, the seeker has to announce it and find them within 5 minutes or until time runs out.
After waiting precisely five minutes, I left my hiding spot and went towards the gathering place.
There I found Rito, Saruyama, Raku, Shu, Kosaki, Yui already waiting for me.
"I won again," I announced with a smug.
"You cheated! I am sure you did!" Saruyama exclaimed in protest.
"Prove it, and I will gladly take the loss," I said, shrugging my shoulders and causing him to grit his teeth.
Sometimes, other kids would tag along, but these six made up the group I interacted with the most as of late. It was a rather curious group, as all of them were different.
Rito is cheerful and kind, but he isn't the brightest tool in the shed. He is quite athletic for his age, giving him an edge in sports and games, but when it came to everything else, he is clumsy, to say the least. He has golden brown eyes and orange-brown spiky hair, which makes him stand out quite a bit.
Saruyama is very playful. He uses every occasion to joke around. He isn't a genius, but calling him dumb would be wrong. To put it simply, other than his black spiky hair, which mostly pointed to the back, he is a normal boy.
Raku, similarly to Rito, is a very kind kid. He is usually full of energy, but when he deals with new kids, he can be very awkward. It isn't surprising since, until recently, only Shu Maiko wanted to play with him, unaffected by Raku's relation to Yakuza.
Talking about Shu. That boy is far more mature than he ought to be. He acts like an idiot and jokes around like Saruyama, but he is far smarter than him. As far as I can tell, he goes with a happy-go-lucky cover just to hide how smart he truly is. He has short to medium, messy, dirty blonde hair and wears circular glasses. He has golden brown eyes like Rito and slightly tanned skin, similar to Raku's.
As for the girls, Kosaki Onodera is a very recent addition, and she is already developing a crash on Raku, not one-sidedly. She can be described as a bit timid, kind and innocent. She has shoulder-length dark-brown hair with one long strand of hair kept combed neatly to the left side of her face and chocolate brown eyes.
The last person, Yui Kanakura is the daughter of a Chinese mafia boss, one of Raku's father's friends, that came here for vacation. She is the oldest among us, at least physically, as she is two years older than Raku and one year older than me. She is an optimist and, similar to Shu, acts easygoing despite being remarkably intelligent. She has medium-length, silky dark hair with a pinkish-violet tinge and several braids. Her eyes are the same color as her hair, and she wears a flowered crown. If I wasn't around, I am sure she would take charge of the group as the 'onee-san'.
"So? Are we continuing, or should we call it a day?" I asked.
"I have enough for today. It's not fun since you always win!" Saruyama replied.
"Sorry, but I have to go as well. Saruyama and I already promised to play soccer with others." Rito said with an apologetic and awkward smile while slightly scratching the side of his face.
"Don't worry. We know how much you love to play soccer." Raku commented, trying to show he doesn't need to apologize.
"You don't have the right to complain anyway, Raku. I still remember how you completely forgot about us because of a cooking show." I said, giving him a teasing smile.
"Jeez! That was only once! When are you going to forget it?!" Raku exclaimed in embarrassment, eliciting a laugh from everyone.
"Never. You know how good my memory is." I said while slightly puffing out my chest.
"Yeah, yeah. We all know how much of a cheat you are..." Saruyama grumbled and left together with Rito.
"I also have to go. See you tomorrow Raku, everyone..." Kosaki Onodera said sheepishly and run off with a slightly red face.
"I have enough for today as well, see ya!" said Shu shortly after Kosaki left, leaving me, Raku, and Yui.
Raku looked at me and proposed, "Do you want to come to my house? We can play some games on my console."
"Sure, it's been a while," I replied.
"Time for a race! The last person there eats a chili pepper!!" he exclaimed and started running us as he could.
Not minding his antics, I looked at Yui with a wry smile and asked, "Do you want me to carry you?"
Despite being a year younger than Rito, and nearly two years younger than me, Raku already started to show that some of his more impressive feats in the anime weren't just a matter of anime logic but his physical strength.
I am faster, but he is the only kid that can somehow keep up with Rito, whose running speed saved him many times in the original series. The three of us are the nightmare of anyone being IT while playing tag.
"Sure, I want to see his face once he realizes he will have to eat the chili pepper himself," she said and giggled.
"Ok," I said and scooped her up in a princess carry, eliciting a surprised yelp.
"I thought you would carry me on your back..." she muttered, slightly embarrassed.
"That's your fault. Hold on tight, I have no safety belts." I replied with a slight shrug and took off like a rocket, soon overtaking Raku and leaving him far behind.

Today, my mother took me and Rito to the amusement park. Dad had to stay home to take care of Mikan as she was only one year old.
The park was full of people. Due to the park being so popular, getting lost in the crowd was very easy, forcing me to pay attention to where my younger brother and the airheaded mother were at all times.
Usually, I would rather stay at home than go to such a noisy and crowded place to waste time. However, there was something that piqued my curiosity this time around.
At first, I thought that the name of this place may be just a coincidence, but now I am sure. This amusement park called Amagi Brilliant Park is the same park from the series under the same name.
After five years, this is the second inconsistency with the To Love-ru I was familiar with from my past. It also means that this world isn't the world of To Love-ru but a mix of different anime.
Why am I so sure? Not that long ago, I realized that the person my father currently works for is the uncle of one of the protagonists of a manga called Bakuman. Another reason is the perverted sheep in front of me.
You can try to hide it as much as you want, but I know you looked at my mom with perverted eyes. After awakening the [Indomitable Will], I became much more sensitive towards intent directed at me.
I was already able to do it thanks to developing my [Instinct], another ability that saved me some unnecessary pain, but the innate made it even more powerful.
"Hello boy, ron!! My name is Macaron, the fairy of music, ron!! Do you want a balloon, ron!? Maybe your older sister wants one, ron?" Macaron, the perverted sheep-like mascot-looking creature, said energetically after approaching us.
That perverted sheep.
"Oh my. I am a mother, not a sister, but thank you." my mother said, happy for the compliment.
Can you not get so happy after being praised by a random mascot? Is dad praising you so rarely that a compliment from a 'mascot' makes you this happy?
"Mom, leave this pervert in a costume. We were supposed to go to the Etcet Land first." I said, not wanting to waste any more time.
"Don't be rude, Arthur! I am sorry for his behavior. He is usually such a good kid." she said, an apologetic expression on her face.
It said nothing wrong. That person is a pervert.
"...N-no, I don't mind, ron. He is just a kid, ron. I won't take more of your time, ron." the 'mascot' said, and left.
Soon after, we went in the direction of Etcet Land. I won't take revenge since I know he will be harassed by other children anyway.
For now, that is.

Meeting that sheep reassured me that we were in the Amagi Brilliant Park I know. That being the case, there is a cute girl I can help and get some good karma as a bonus.
With that thought in mind, I used the crowd to sleep away and quickly ran towards Maple Castle, using the map in my head.
The castle was in the most extensive part of the park, called Sorcerer's Hill, where it was possible to find many other attractions like Heart-Pounding Coaster, Ferris Wheel, Free Fall, and Coffee Cup.
They don't have the best security, do they?
I was able to enter Maple Castle without anyone stopping me. With so many customers, it wasn't a surprise they were understaffed. Still, leaving their literal reason for being here without protection was dumb.
Now then, time to find the princess. I don't remember everything about the story as I read it only in my past life, but I still remember something.
I am not sure about its source, but the princess got inflicted with a curse that prevented her from aging and erased memories of the past year annually, on August 1st at sunset.
It took some time to make my parents take me here on that date, but I think it was worth it.
I doubt I will be able to get rid of the curse since there wasn't enough time to read in detail about curses before today. Not to mention, I couldn't be sure if it wasn't just a regular theme park. If that was the case and I spent time learning how to lift curses, to which I am immune, it would be a waste of time.
I won't be able to remove the curse yet, but I should be able to help her not lose memories. The purpose of this park is to gather the energy released by people to weaken the curse. That being the case, I can supplement that energy using Origin.
After walking through many rooms, I entered a room with a big balcony, where I found a crying girl on her knees. Based on her appearance, she was around fourteen years old. Her hair was long and blond, and she was wearing a white ball gown and a tiara on her head.
"Are you alright?" I asked innocently while internally sighing.
I feel bad for tricking her, but it can't be helped. I am not supposed to know anything, so I have to make her explain the situation first.
"Eh?! Who are you, and why are you here?"(???) she said while wiping away her tears.
Poor thing. If I ever find the wizard that cursed her, I won't let him off easily.
"My name is Arthur, and I am lost. What is your name, big sister?" I replied and asked back.
After the initial surprise, a light of understanding flashed across her eyes.
"Oh, so you were lost? My name is Latifa Fleuranza," she replied.
"Latifa? Can I call you like that? It's such a beautiful name, hahaha." I said so while giving her a radiant smile.
I hate it more and more.
"Do you want me to help you find your parents?" Latifa offered.
She is so kind even in such a situation. She doesn't deserve to suffer like this.
"Yes, please, but why were you crying? Did something bad happen?" I asked, putting on a worried expression.
"N-no... It's nothing... It's not like I can talk about something like that with a kid..." she answered, slightly taken aback.
"Eh?! I am not just a kid!! And I am sure you will feel better if you tell about this to someone!" I protested with a slight pout, trying to appear cute.
Why do I have to go through this humiliation..?

"Ok, ok. I will tell you. It's not like it changes anything." Latifa said to appease me. "You see, whether you believe me or not, I am a real princess, and I come from a place called Maple Land," she said and looked at me to gauge my reaction.
"That's amazing! A real princess!!" I exclaimed in 'excitement', like any child in my position would if they believed her.

She smiled slightly and started laughing a little.

"Hahaha, I am glad you believe me." she smiled slightly. "My father, the king, ordered the construction of this park to help me. A few years ago, I got cursed by a wizard, and because of that, I am losing energy called Anima, which is something we maple landers can't live without." Latifa explained.
"Eh!? Why would he curse you? Big sister looks so pretty and like a good person!!" I exclaimed, once again putting on display my acting skills.
Her perception of me is likely affected by The Orb. I have no right to complain since it works in my favor.
Soon after, her face became a little gloomy, while her eyes showed a hint of melancholy.

"You see, my father promised my hand to a wizard for defeating a powerful dragon that pillaged our kingdom for years. But instead of keeping his promise, he ordered the execution of that wizard. That's why he cursed me. He did it to get back at my father. Besides making me constantly lose the Anima, the curse also annually erases my memories of the previous year while making my body eternally fourteen." she said, visibly on the verge of crying.
Hearing her, I felt a mix of different emotions. I felt both immense sadness and rage. She did nothing wrong and yet ended up in such a dire situation because of the whims of others.
At least this expression isn't something I have to fake...
"So the reason you were crying is..." I said, allowing my words to hang.
"Yes, today I will lose my memories again..." Latifa finished, giving it her all not to fall on the floor and start crying again.
"I understand everything until now except one thing. What this amusement park has to do with Anima?" I asked sad yet puzzled look on my face.
"Human happiness, also called human animus, can be a temporary source. The problem is that despite everyone giving it their all it's not enough," Latifa answered, and as if her last words were a signal for the waterways to open again, she started crying.
"Then I will help you!!! I don't think I can break the curse just yet, but I will do it for sure in the future!!!" I exclaimed to show my support.
"Eh? But you are just a child. What can you do...?" she asked, puzzled and still crying.
"If you need happiness, take mine!" I said, then ran up and hugged her after kneeling.
Got damn it!!! Why do I have to say such embarrassing lines!?
"Eh?!" Latifa exclaimed in surprise, her face slightly reddening due to also feeling embarrassed.
I looked up at her, as even with both of us on our knees, she was still taller than me.
"How much time is left?" I asked.
"I think roughly twenty minutes," she replied, still embarrassed.
I took a deep breath and made the Origin coursing through me flow into her body, causing her a bit of a startle, but feeling warm energy filling her body, Latifa hugged me back and closed her eyes.
Origin's greatest aspect was its ability to change following the user's intent.
It's possible to use it both to heal and attack as it can take on the characteristics of any attribute. It can turn into the purest kind of any energy, but the downside is that it's still too hard to control and maintain outside of my body. I can make it a bit easier by getting in contact with the target, but it still requires a considerable focus.
While guiding Origin through her body and effectively mapping its structure, I finally found the core responsible for keeping the anima, discovering it was nearly empty.
It seems, that the park can supply barely enough energy to prevent the curse from draining it all.
After a while, I filled her core, leaving me with a lot to spare. I was able to achieve that mostly because Origin can't maintain its form after getting cut off from my will and converts into lower forms of energy, substantially increasing the amount, allowing me to produce more than the whole park. Since I intended her to absorb it, The Origin inside her promptly downgraded to the highest and purest form of energy she could assimilate.
Now, I can only wait.
One minute. Two minutes. Five minutes. Time went by while both of us were in complete silence.
"I-I still remember everything...*sob sob*... It's already past the time, and I still remember everything *sob sob* t-thank you, truly thank you... waa!!" Latifa squeezed me tighter as she kept thanking me over and over, crying from joy.
"Don't mind it," I replied, smiling gently.
As I was patting her back with my small hand, a quest window appeared right in front of my eyes, with a *Ping* sound.
