Catching Ohta a little off guard, the giant cat became much smaller, exclaiming, "Then let's play tag!" as it booped him on the nose, adding, "You're it...!" as it promptly vanished.

Shrugging her shoulders, Yoruichi admitted, "He 'did' want me to confirm if we could resonate a second time. But, to be honest, I'm not really in the mood. What about you? Eager to sample my body a second time...?"

Exhaling a throaty groan, Yoruichi muttered, "This damned brat..." before turning around and promptly departing the apartment. However, instead of leaving, she waited outside for a few seconds before poking her head in, asking, "What are you waiting for? Let's go."
"I thought I had the day off," replied Ohta. "You said you wouldn't be back until nightfall."
"Just shut up and come with me," ordered Yoruichi. "Kisuke has your cell phone spirit detector, and you 'owe' me for yesterday. We should get in at least a few hours of training each day. I mean, even lion cubs playfight to prepare for future fights to the death."
"I take it back," said Ohta, adopting a teasing smile as he added, "You're not a lioness. You're a tiger mom..."
Exhaling a scoffing chuckle, Yoruichi instructed, "Just move your ass..." before returning to wait for him outside...

As they had experienced Soul Resonance quite a few times in the past three and a half weeks, Ohta just smiled in response to Yoruichi's words. She knew he viewed Rukia as the 'safer' option, and she had been riding his ass about it ever since.
Shaking her head, Yoruichi muttered, "Whatever...you're still a brat, and she looks like one. If you want to make her go heels up by playing hero, be my guest."
"Hey, you and the creepy uncle are the ones that got me involved in this shit," protested Ohta. "Besides, I didn't give you a few hundred years of baggage or make you best friends with a sociopath. That's on you, kitten."
Snorting through her nose, Yoruichi muttered, "Fucking asshole..." before disappearing from Ohta's apartment.
"And there she goes..." muttered Ohta, taking a moment to raise his arms and stretch his body before rising to take a shower. This wasn't the first time he and Yoruichi had quarreled, so it wasn't that big a deal. Yoruichi also knew better than he did how truly colossal her baggage was, so she couldn't really blame him for being 'apprehensive.' After all, her family had apparently taken part in mutilating the entity closest to god. And that was just the tip of a very large iceberg...
In the midst of taking his traditionally long, cold-to-hot shower, Ohta sensed her approach before hearing Rukia knock on his door. He had a good idea about why she was coming over, but as it was barely ten in the morning on a school day, she was way earlier than he expected.
As his shower was adjacent to the wall connecting to the outside, Ohta startled Rukia by leaning his head out and saying, "I'm in the shower right now, but you can come inside and wait. Just grab me a change of clothes when you do."
Without waiting for Rukia's response, Ohta pulled his head back inside, enjoying the remainder of his shower and pretending he didn't notice Rukia stealing a glance at him when she opened the door to drop off his clothes. She frequently came to him to complain when Ichigo frustrated her, and he occasionally dropped in to see how she was doing. He 'knew' she wasn't doing well, as the Gigai she had been given was designed to leak her spirit energy, so they had become fairly close as she confided in him most of her troubles.
Stepping out of the bathroom, Ohta found Rukia staring at a page in his sketchbook, causing him to frown as he remarked, "You know, most artists hate when people go through their shit without permission..."
Startling considerably, Rukia stepped away from the sketchbook like it was a hot stove, stammering, "O-Ohta, I...I was just..."
Shaking his head, Ohta assured, "It's fine," before adopting a smile and adding, "I keep all the steamier pieces hidden away."
While Rukia was still at a loss for words, Ohta made his way over to his desk to find that she had been staring at a portrait of herself, depicting her seated on the ledge of a window as she stared listlessly at the full moon.
"Not bad, is it?" asked Ohta, holding up the sketchbook as he added, "If you want, I can give it to you."
Blinking in surprise, Rukia asked, "Are you sure? It seems like you spent a lot of time on it..."
"Eh, they're just sketches," said Ohta, handing the entire sketchbook over as he remarked, "I get to see the source material nearly every day."
Though she accepted the sketchbook with a smile, a hint of accusation appeared in Rukia's obsidian eyes as she asked, "Does that include the woman with shining eyes and dark skin? I noticed there were quite a lot of pictures of her..."
Proving her point, Rukia opened the sketchbook to a page depicting Yoruichi lying atop a bed in a seductive pose, her breasts and privates covered by translucent sheets as she stared at the viewer with narrowed eyes and an alluring smile.
"Oh, that's Yoruichi's true form," revealed Ohta, clarifying, "She's the black cat that's been teaching me Shinigami techniques."

"It's the voice, right?" asked Ohta. "Yeah, I was also surprised when I found out. Even more so when she attacked and beat the shit out of me..."
"She attacked you?" asked Rukia, concern appearing on her face before turning to anger as she asked, "What else has she been doing to you? Are the two of you...?"
"Are the two of us what?" asked Ohta, raising his brows, curious to see if Rukia would ask if they were having sex.
Shaking her head, Rukia muttered, "No, just forget it..." in a faint, nearly inaudible tone. Then, with a serious and concerned look on her face, she added, "That isn't why I came here today. Ichigo asked for tomorrow off to visit his mother's grave with his family. I agreed, but I can't shake the feeling something terrible is going to happen. Could you check it out...or maybe lend me some of your power so I can keep an eye on him?"
"Sure," replied Ohta. "But I'd rather not spend my day stalking a family trying to mourn their loved ones. I'll lend you my power, and you can call me if shit hits the fan."
As she knew Ohta was trying to create distance between himself and the people he would invariably be leaving behind to join Soul Society, Rukia didn't press him to get involved further. Instead, she adopted a beaming, notably appreciative smile and replied, "Thank you, Ohta-kun. Whenever I need help, I can always count on you."
"Just remember to prepare a place for me in Soul Society," quipped Ohta. "I'm willing to admit we're friends, but I'm not a charity worker. My creed is 'give and take.' Remember that."
Rolling her eyes, Rukia crossed her arms and remarked, "So you say. But, if someone 'really' needed your assistance, I know you'd aid them without expecting anything in return."
Instead of refuting Rukia's words outright, Ohta gave her a reciprocal eye-roll and said, "Whatever you say, bunny-lover. Now, get back to school. It isn't good to be truant."
"Yeah, yeah..." replied Rukia, waving her hand as she made her way for the exit. She was originally hoping to stay a while, maybe have a chat, but, believing Ohta wanted to get some rest after a fairly busy night of slaying Hollows, she decided not to keep him...

Though he was somewhat tempted to go and see if Rukia's intuition was accurate, Ohta spent the anniversary of Ichigo's mother's death simply walking around town. Being invisible had its perks. Not because he had any plans on 'misusing' it, but because it allowed him to fuck with people and see the side of them they kept hidden from others. Unsurprisingly, it wasn't very pretty.
After loitering around behind a masked man who sneakily took pictures of a bunch of brats, Ohta followed the overweight fellow to his home to find he had a waste pit of an apartment filled with less-than-innocent photos. Shinigami, somewhat ironically, were prohibited from reaping the lives of humans without specific orders to do so, but as a 'freelancer,' Ohta felt no obligation to obey their laws.
Waiting until the man was preparing to perform his daily ritual, Ohta made a pistol out of his thumb, index, and middle fingers, placing it against the back of the man's head, sending shivers through the man's bloated body as he said, "Boom, headshot." before pulling an invisible trigger.
Though there was no blood or gore, the predatory man instantly slumped forward in response to Ohta's words, his brain experiencing a catastrophic hemorrhage.
Confused by what had happened, the overweight man, now in a ghostly spirit form, uttered a confused, "Huh? Is that my body...?" while staring at his sad figure, planted face-first into the ground with his dirty underwear on display.
"See ya later, fuckwad," said Ohta, earning the man's attention, distracting him from a pair of eerie purple doors that rose behind him, the front of which protruded two skeletal figures with bandages and chains adorning their bodies.
"Who the fuck are you!?" screamed the man, practically frothing at the mouth as he bellowed, "This is my apartment! You can't be here! Get out! Get the fuck out of here right now...!"
"You first," retorted Ohta, kicking the man in the chest as the doors behind him opened, revealing the eyes of a demonic entity shrouded in red and black energy. Yoruichi had explained that the interior connected to Hell, where wicked spirits and monstrous creatures were tortured until their souls dissipated. She couldn't explain how it was determined who ended up there and who moved on to Soul Society, but Ohta didn't really care. He just assumed it had something to do with Karma.
As the gates to Hell closed behind him, Ohta turned around and departed the smelly apartment, remarking, "Man, Japan is filled with perverts..." as he walked through the bars lining the third-floor landing, strolling casually through the air. He hadn't been keeping track, but this wasn't his first time sending a predator packing to the netherworld.
Allowing gravity to take hold of him, Ohta dropped to the ground near an alleyway where several high-school, if not college-aged, teenagers were skateboarding. An elderly woman was trying to pass through the area, but the group ignored her, hogging the street and sidewalk as if they were the only ones with a right to it.
As none of the boys outright deserved to die for their actions, Ohta took a moment to consider his options before using his psychic power to 'gently' squeeze the cores of each person. Doing so caused most of them to keel over, falling to their knees and holding their stomachs with expressions as white as sheets. Ironically, though not surprising, when the old woman saw this, she quickly approached the closest one, placing her hand on his shoulder to ask if he were okay and if she should call an ambulance.
"Hopefully, that teaches them something..." muttered Ohta, leaving the scene with his hands in his pockets. The old woman looked at him when he spoke, but that also wasn't surprising, as, according to Yoruichi, those close to death became progressively attuned to it...

Though he was tempted to pretend he wasn't in, Ohta arose from his bed and went to his front door, unsurprised to find Rukia standing outside with a somber look, her hair dripping and the vanilla sundress she was wearing slightly transparent from the rain.
"Well, that's not promising..." remarked Ohta, stepping aside as he added, "Get in here..." in a marginally softer tone.
Instead of walking past and into his room, Rukia stepped closer to Ohta, bumping her forehead against his chest as she muttered, "I really messed up today..."

After a moment of silence and feigned hesitation, Ohta wrapped his arms around Rukia's body, finding she was trembling slightly. She tensed as he did so but made no effort to break free, permitting him to hold her until he said, "Let's get you into the bath. We can talk once you've warmed your body and are no longer shivering..."
Without waiting for Rukia's response, Ohta guided her to the bathroom. He was half-tempted to remove her dress, but even he felt that would be a bit much. Instead, he showed her where the towels were before leaving to retrieve a clothes change from her apartment.
While waiting for Rukia to finish bathing, Ohta prepared some hot cocoa while considering how to handle the present situation. The simplest thing to do would be to hear Rukia out and then send her on her way, but when a girl went to a man she liked for comfort, sending them away was a good way to send them spiraling into negativity.
"Well, we'll just see how things play out..." muttered Ohta. He technically wasn't in a relationship with Yoruichi, so if Rukia sought him for more than simple consolation, he had no reason to reject her. That might decimate his chances with Yoruichi, but he wasn't exactly looking forward to getting entangled in the mess that was her personal life...
Interrupting Ohta's thoughts, Rukia emerged from the bathroom wearing the silky beige pajamas he pulled from her dresser. She lacked the charm of a mature beauty like Yoruichi, but her delicate, forlorn appearance gave even Ohta a middling desire to protect her.
Rising from his bed, Ohta adopted a muted smile and asked, "Feeling better?" while picking up and proferring the cocoa he had prepared for her.
Accepting the cocoa, Rukia offered a faint "Thank you..." before taking a tentative sip. It wasn't as sweet as traditional hot chocolate, as it used actual cocoa powder, but its bittersweetness and warmth brought a smile to Rukia's face as she remarked, "It's good..."
"There's more if you need it," said Ohta, gesturing to his bed and adding, "When you're ready, take a seat and tell me what this is all about."
Nodding her head, Rukia sat on the edge of Ohta's bed, her smile fading somewhat when she witnessed him pulling out his desk chair rather than sitting beside her.
Noticing the subtle change, Ohta raised his brows and asked, "Did you want me to sit next to you? Because I can."
Though her instinct was to refute Ohta's words, Rukia ultimately remained silent, her smile gaining a hint of meek diffidence as she averted her eyes by hanging her head.
Exhaling a faint sigh through his nose, Ohta made things easier by sitting next to Rukia, putting his hand around her head, and pulling her face into his chest as he whispered, "Tell me what's wrong..."
Escaping from Ohta's hold, Rukia's forlorn look gave way to a wide-eyed, slightly panicked expression as she placed her hand on her chest, feeling her heart racing as she asked, "What are you doing?" in a near-monotone voice.
Shrugging his shoulders, Ohta responded, "I 'thought' I was comforting you. Guess I took things too far...?"
Exhaling a sigh of her own, Rukia shook her head, regaining a hint of her earlier melancholy as she hung her head and replied, "No...it's true that I came here seeking consolation. It's just...I'm not very good at things like this..."
Instead of asking for clarification of what she meant, Ohta adopted a faint smile and expressed, "Just tell me what you want me to do. If you need a shoulder to cry on, I've got two."
Looking up at Ohta, Rukia's obsidian-black, faintly purple eyes wavered for several seconds before she swallowed hard and asked, "Can I put my head on your lap...?"
"I've also got one of those," replied Ohta, patting his lap as if it were no big deal. Then, when Rukia finally mustered the courage to put her head down, he proceeded to caress it, soothingly stroking his fingers through her hair in silence.

After what felt like an hour but was closer to ten minutes, Rukia repeated, "I really messed up today...a Hollow attacked while Ichigo and his family were visiting his mother's grave, and I got involved when I shouldn't have. To make matters words, a Shinigami from Squad 2, the Stealth Force, was present. With this, Soul Society knows about Ichigo and that I've lost my powers as a Shinigami..."
Instead of trying to sugar-coat things, Ohta conceded, "That's a pretty massive blunder. But I don't think it's the reason you're upset. Tell me what happened with Ichigo..."
"..."
Hesitating for several seconds, Rukia revealed, "The Hollow that attacked happened to be what killed Ichigo's mother six years ago. He asked me to stay out of it, but when it attacked his sisters, I took action..."
"Did you kill it...?" asked Ohta.
Shaking her head, Rukia replied, "No...I can't use your power as well as you can, so I only managed to injure it. After that, it ran away, escaping into the void and presumably returning to Hueco Mundo..."
"Then everything's fine," assured Ohta. "Ichigo might be a little butthurt, but he isn't going to hate you for stepping in to save his family. If he gives you a hard time, just let me know. I'll kick his teeth in."
"Don't you mean you'll talk some sense into him?" asked Rukia.
"Violence is an effective form of communication when people are being intentionally difficult or obstinant..." replied Ohta. "Besides, it wouldn't be the first time Ichigo and I fought. Our views haven't always aligned with one another..."
Exhaling a soft chuckle, Rukia sounded a lot happier as she muttered, "I can imagine. You're a lot more 'resolute' than other boys your age. There are times I can't help thinking you're much older..."
"Not as old as you..." retorted Ohta.
"Ha ha, very funny..." responded Rukia, her voice carrying a hint of feigned displeasure. She didn't appreciate the insinuation she was old, but at 153, she wasn't exactly young. At least not by human standards...
Exhaling a faint chuckle of his own, Ohta allowed a comfortable silence to settle between him and Rukia before asking, "Feeling better...?"
"Much..." replied Rukia, her expression having eased into a contemplative languor. She knew she should leave, but Ohta gently caressing her head was a comfort she hadn't experienced since she was a mortal starving in the streets...
Catching Ohta a little off guard, Rukia asked, "Why are you so good to me...?" in a faint, nearly inaudible tone.
"I'm not..." argued Ohta, his expression softening into a self-deprecating smile as he casually revealed, "If anything, I'm taking advantage of you. You seem lonely, so I'm hedging my bets by befriending you. Once I get to Soul Society, I expect you to return the favor in full..."
Believing that Ohta was just messing with her, Rukia snorted through her nose and muttered, "You never change..."
"That's not true," Ohta retorted. "Even though it's not strictly necessary, I change and wash my Shihakusho daily."
"That 'isn't' what I meant," replied Rukia, rising to a seated position so she could stare at Ohta and speak to him directly. However, when their gazes met, she found herself at a loss for words, entranced by the atypically gentle smile on his face. In reality, his expression wasn't any different from his usually cheeky smile, but with the right atmosphere, even apathy could resemble smoldering passion...
Narrowing his eyes slightly, Ohta asked, "Is there something on my face?"
Freed from the spell she was under, Rukia promptly turned away, placing her hand against her chest to find that it was again beating rapidly. She had made a habit of reminding herself that she didn't feel anything more than friendship and camaraderie toward Ohta, but now that there was a chance she would need to flee far from Karakura Town, she felt..terrified...
"Take your time and enjoy some cocoa," said Ohta. "I still need to shower and get changed. If you're still here when I get out, we can talk more..."
Rising to his feet, Ohta had every intention of showering but stopped mid-step when Rukia grabbed his sleeve, saying, "Wait..." in a nearly inaudible tone. This was expected. What wasn't was Rukia adopting a serious and resolute expression as she said, "Let me go with you..."

While covering his mouth to stifle a yawn, Ohta used his free hand to knock on Rukia's door. It took a little while, but she eventually answered, adopting a playful smile as she remarked, "So you 'do' know how doors work. Good to know."
Raising his brows, Ohta asked, "What are you talking about? I knocked when I returned your phone to you this morning. Yesterday, I just wanted to surprise you."
Feeling that her joke had fallen flat, Rukia exhaled a faint sigh through her nose before stepping aside and saying, "Come inside."
"Well, if you insist..." replied Ohta, stepping past the diminutive Shinigami and taking a look around her room. It had only been a few days since she moved in, but there was a tiny shelf filled with bishonen manga, a rabbit-themed desk lamp, and a similarly rabbit-themed beanbag.
"I take you it you like rabbits...?" asked Ohta.
"I don't have any particular like or dislike for them," replied Rukia, clearly lying but not giving Ohta a chance to comment on it as she asked, "What about you? Do you have any favorite animals...?"
"I like dogs," asserted Ohta. "They're low-maintenance, and if you treat them well, they'll never betray you..."
Seeing Ohta's expression change when he mentioned betrayal, Rukia was slightly compelled to ask if he had experienced it. Instead, she said, "Give me a moment to prepare some tea. Take a seat while you wait."
Stopping Rukia before she could grab her rabbit-themed kettle and begin preparing the leaves, Ohta said, "There's no need for that. I just came by to borrow your phone."
"Yes, I wanted to talk to you about that," replied Rukia, proceeding with the tea preparations as she noted, "You mentioned becoming a Shinigami and allowing Ichigo to focus on his studies. That being the case, wouldn't it make more sense for you to patrol during the day?"
"Maybe if you and Ichigo took the night shift," admitted Ohta. "But, if he had to go to school 'and' hunt Hollows at night, Ichigo wouldn't have any time to rest or study."
"And what about you?" asked Rukia. "Are you getting enough rest, Ohta-kun? You look exhausted..."
"It's fine," assured Ohta. "I just got a little too invested in training today. I'll be sure to rest later."
"You neglected to mention you were training..." remarked Rukia. "I take it that cat has something to do with it?"
"Yeah, check this out," said Ohta, abruptly vanishing before Rukia's eyes and appearing behind her as he added, "Turns out that I have a knack for the Shinigami Arts."
"Was that Shunpo?" asked Rukia, her eyes wide in shock. She could also execute Shunpo, but it was far from as seamless as Ohta's.
"So I've been told," mused Ohta, a faint smile adorning his face. However, unbeknownst to Rukia, he was nearly as surprised as she. It usually took a bit of time for him to choose his destination and move to it, so he wasn't sure how he executed it so effortlessly. The obvious explanation was that his Soul Resonance with Yoruichi had changed something within him, but that wasn't a conversation to have with Rukia.
Recovering from her momentary stupor, Rukia's expression relaxed as she said, "That's another thing I've been meaning to discuss. Now that you've become a Shinigami, do you intend to enter the Soul Society?"
"Maybe," replied Ohta. "It depends on how Soul Society reacts to the fact I'm a Shinigami with no history or background. I doubt they'll allow me to join the Thirteen Court Guardian Squads just because I want to."
"Do you want to?" asked Rukia. "Because, if so, I could talk to the Captain of my Division, Ukitake Jūshirō. He's a kind man and a former pupil of the Captain-Commander. There would likely be a probationary period, but I'm certain you would make a fine addition to Squad 13."

Though she failed to grasp Ohta's earlier innuendo, Rukia nearly dropped the tea she was preparing when she heard his words and saw him smiling at her.
Unable to meet Ohta's gaze, Rukia averted her eyes, furrowing her brows into a slight pout as she muttered, "How boorish..." despite a faint blush coloring her cheeks.
Shrugging his shoulders, Ohta jokingly remarked, "It's way too easy to get a rise out of you. As for becoming a member of your Squad, I don't think it would be that bad. We'll see what your Captain has to say."
Though she frowned at the notion that Ohta was teasing her, Rukia turned to meet his gaze as she said, "Then I'll talk to him once I return. Since you are helping me to perform my duties while I recover, I don't believe he will refuse your enlistment."
Pouring the tea she had prepared, Rukia handed a cup to Ohta, regaining her smile as she asked, "Would you like to make a toast?"
"Tea isn't exactly a toasting beverage, but sure," replied Ohta, holding up his cup as he said, "To kicking ass."
Resisting the urge to roll her eye, Rukia raised her cup, clinking it against Ohta's as she added, "To long lives and lasting fellowships..."

"If that had gone on much longer, I might have coughed up a hairball..." remarked Yoruichi, waiting for Ohta atop the privacy wall surrounding the apartment in her cat form.
Raising his brows, Ohta remarked, "I didn't take you for the jealous type. Though, I did just spend the last four and a half hours fucking you...could it be that you've fallen for me?"
"You wish," replied Yoruichi, leaping onto Ohta's shoulder as she added, "Though, as I don't have any other prospects I'm interested in, you could enter the running to become my suitor. The old farts in my family wouldn't agree, but I've never particularly cared for their opinions."
"Is that a marriage proposal...?" asked Ohta, surprising her more with the nearly flawless Shunpo he performed than his actual question.
Recovery from her very momentary shock, Yoruichi snorted and said, "It means I'm giving you my blessing to pursue me. However, as I mentioned before, you lack the qualifications for me to take you seriously."
"Then why even bring it up?" asked Ohta, stopping atop the roof they had perched upon the previous night.
"Because of that girl's background," said Yoruichi, revealing, "Recall how I mentioned there were Five Great Families? The Shiba Clan has fallen from grace, but the Shihouin, Kuchiki, Matsushita, and Kimura families make up the ruling Clans of Sereitai. There are several other Noble Families, but we five have stood at the top for over a million years."
"Ah, so she's an Ojou-sama..." remarked Ohta. "In hindsight, that makes a lot of sense..."
Shaking her head, Yoruichi remarked, "Things would be much simpler if she were. The reality is that Rukia was adopted into the Kuchiki family at the behest of the current head, Kuchiki Byakuya. She is the younger sister of his deceased wife, so if you make up your mind to pursue her, you may have to contend with him."
"Is he strong...?" asked Ohta, although the answer was obvious. For a family to remain in power for a million years, they must have something that makes them exceptional.
"Except for the current Kenpachi, the Captains of Squads 4 and 8, the Captain-Commander himself, and the man we discussed during the Soul Resonance, he's probably the strongest of the Gotei 13," replied Yoruichi. "Though, the one you 'really' need to watch out for is Soi Fon, the Captain of Squad 12. She's as cute as a kitten, but she's also a little obsessive. If you don't become my husband in the future, I suggest never allowing her to find out we had sex."
"Informing me about a land mine after I've already stepped on it isn't very helpful..." remarked Ohta. "Not that it would have changed anything. From the moment I realized it was a possibility, I was determined to fuck you at least once."
Snorting a second time, Yoruichi remarked, "Well, don't get used to it. It's fine every so often, but if you want 'permanent' access to my body, you'll need to work hard and commit. If it were discovered that you were fooling around with the adopted outcast of the Kuchiki while consorting with me, quite a few people would demand your head."
"Sounds like I got involved with something I shouldn't..." remarked Ohta.
"That's one of the downsides to being born with incredible power," replied Yoruichi. "Those in positions of power can't afford to ignore you, so if they can't pull you to their side, they will try to eliminate you. You could always run away and lie low, but if the world suddenly comes to an end and there was a chance you could have stopped it, even you might regret it..."
Though he was tempted to refute Yoruichi's words, Ohta knew he wasn't 'completely' heartless. He enjoyed fucking with people, especially those who thought they could get an advantage over him, but he never went out of his way to harm the innocent or ruin lives. The world was shitty enough without him actively making things worse...
"Then I'll let you decide," replied Ohta, catching Yoruichi a little off guard as he adopted a cheeky smile and appended, "If you want to monopolize my dick, I'll allow it. But if you think I'm going to bust my ass to earn your approval, you're mistaken. I don't give a rat's ass about your family or the politics of Soul Society. If you want me to care, then you'll need to be the one to make me..."
Exhaling a scoffing laugh, Yoruichi remarked, "You never cease to amaze and confound me. Virtually every man in Soul Society wishes they could have me, yet you want me to pursue you?"
"Well, those people probably haven't had you suck their dick and then milk them with your monstrous pussy like the world was about to end," contended Ohta. "I'm clearly an exception."

As it hadn't been that long since she and Ohta had ceased having sex, wrapping things up with a make-out session in the shower, Yoruichi found herself at a loss for words. She didn't love him, but she couldn't deny that fucking him had been a blast. Even more so since it had been more than a decade since her last liaison with Kisuke...
Exhaling a tired sigh, Yoruichi muttered, "You're an exceptional asshole, that's what..."
"Well, you know what they say..." replied Ohta, earning himself a deadpan stare from Yoruichi as he mused, "You are what you eat..."
"I'm going," said Yoruichi, leaping from her perch and making her way to the roof's edge before turning back to append, "Don't come to the shop tomorrow. I'll come looking for you."
Though he was tempted to remark she was breaking their agreement by going off to do her own thing, Ohta raised his hand and said, "Have fun." in a dismissive tone. She was the best fuck he had ever experienced, so he didn't mind giving her a bit of leeway.
Turning away without a response, Yoruichi leaped from the building as if she were committing suicide. Ohta went to check a few seconds later, but as their link had strengthened considerably since the Soul Resonance, he knew he wouldn't find her decorating the pavement. Instead, she seemed to be heading toward the Urahara Shop, presumably to share the info she had obtained.
Considering a different possibility, Ohta narrowed his eyes and muttered, "Well, it's not like we're in a relationship..."
As it wasn't his business who Yoruichi fucked, Ohta covered his mouth to stifle a long yawn. At the same time, however, he decided that if Yoruichi did ditch him to have sex with Urahara, he would stop fooling around with her. He had no interest in sluts, so if things developed in that direction, he would ditch her ass and pursue the comparably homely Rukia. Her looks couldn't hold a candle to Yoruichi's, but Ohta believed she would be very loyal...
