Fenrir's Journey : I Shall Devour The Heavens!

After getting the information she had wanted, which had been obtained for free with her status as a Mercenary Queen, Fenrir decided it would be better for her to leave the city. Though there were some quests that were available to her, Fenrir didn't really care about increasing her rank that much and, now that she had also obtained a map, her goal behind entering the city had already been met. Since she didn't really want to deal with the weaklings lurking about in the shadows, it was easier to just move on and go about her business. At least, that was her intent when she was leaving the Mercenaries Guild...Drawn by the crowd, which had gathered to view and discuss the two corpses on the ground, there were a group of 'girly' men wearing white robes asking about the identity of the attacker. When the man they were talking to saw Fenrir come out of the building, he pointed in her direction, causing the four men to turn in her direction. The leading man, looking especially girly, showed a surprised expression on his face while his three fellows all had moderate reactions of their own. It was obvious at a glance that the three 'less' girly men were followers of the smaller, 'especially' girly man.In the next instant, just as she had been blocked previously, Fenrir found the girly man standing in front of her with a smile on his face while his lackeys loosely encircled her. She could see a glint in his eyes that looked at her like a possession and, before he was able to stay a single stupid word, Fenrir reached out and grabbed the girly man by his makeup covered face. Though she was nearly 20cm shorter than he was, Fenrir lifted the man by his face and, in less time than it took to blink an eye, buried his head into the ground below, shouting, "STOP STANDING IN MY WAY!"The three other men moved to attack her, with one immediately drawing his sword since he had noticed that his Young Master had already gone to greet King Yama. Just as he was about to exclaim injustice for all the surrounding crowds to hear, the man suddenly felt a peculiar sensation pass through his body and was no longer able to move. He watched as the murderous girl walked away from them, having completely missed her previous movements. However, the onlookers had seen it clearly when Fenrir made a strange 3m long blade of energy with her finger and ran it through all three surrounding men. By the time she had 'vanished' from the city center, four more corpses had joined the previous two...Fenrir was now completely pissed off, so much so that the hunger in her stomach was rising up, encroaching on her brain as it threatened to take over. However, instead of running towards the periphery of the city to hunt monsters, Fenrir charged towards where one of the men following her was located. Before the man was able to say anything, Fenrir swiped her [Severing Claws] across his body and left him in five pieces before moving on to her next target. If they wanted to keep pestering her, Fenrir was going to make sure they couldn't pester anyone anymore...(Fenrir's Commentary: 'They just keep coming, one after the other! If they want me so badly, I'll go to them then...!')

After dealing with the two people following her, even though the second one had tried to run away, Fenrir made her way towards the western section of the city. She was following the scent of the old man who had stopped her earlier that morning, the first offender that had been riling her up. Fenrir didn't like the way he had looked at her from the start and, as he had a thick aura of blood around his body, she decided to kill him outright. If this didn't do anything to ease her frustrations and hunger, Fenrir would turn her attention to other people with murderous auras as well. She had seen too many instances of Cultivators from Sects doing whatever they wanted, even killing, so Fenrir wanted them to feel the pain and frustrations they had forced upon others.Though the city was massive, spanning nearly 800km in diameter, Fenrir had managed to reach a large compound with dozens of buildings, courtyards, and scenic gardens. At the very front of the residence, there was a large semi-circular gate with the words 'Fen Clan' in bold golden brush strokes. Fenrir didn't know what relation the old man had with the Fen Clan, but his smell originated from within the property and she wasn't going to foot around the issue. Ignoring the weak barrier that tried to prevent her from entering, Fenrir condensed pure magic power into her fist and smashed down on the roof of the building where the man named Lee was located.From within the collapsing rubble, several figures jumped out, swirling green energy around their body as an alarm began to sound out loudly throughout the compound. Fenrir, standing in the air using the footholds she had created, glared towards the three old men and two young boys that were being protected by them. She could smell that, much like the man named Lee, the other two old men also had a thick odor of blood clinging to their bodies. The more sickening thing, however, was that the slightly older of the two boys also had a scent of blood and negative energy on his body...Seeing who their attacker was, Lee shouted out in incredulity, "Senior? What have we done to offend you? Why have you come to the Fen Clan..?" In response to Lee's words, the old man to his left asked, "Senior...? So this is the little lass you were talking about...hooo...I see, I see..." There was a long beard on his face and, as he looked towards her with an appraising gaze, the man was stroking it with intrigue. Fenrir, feeling his eyes wander around her body, clenched her teeth and said, "That's it...I'm going to tear your eye out..."The man seemed amused by Fenrir's words until, much like his compatriots, he noticed that Fenrir was standing on the air without the aid of a spiritual object. Unless she was using some rare technique to achieve flight, this was a feat only someone at the Core Formation Realm could accomplish. The strongest among them was only at the Sixth Stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm, a full four large Stages below this small girl before them. Unfortunately, the moment this thought crossed his mind, the man suddenly felt an agonizing pain as half his vision became filled with darkness...(Fenrir's Commentary: 'STOP LOOKING AT PEOPLE LIKE THEY ARE POSSESSIONS!')

Hearing the 'child' before them refer to herself as a 'King', many people within the Guild wanted to retort. However, after she had killed two people in an instant, nobody was willing to risk the chance that she was actually at the Foundation Realm, as offending her was the same as washing your neck and waiting for her to claim it. Since it didn't seem like she carried any weapons on her, they could only pray it would be a quick and painless death...The Receptionist woman, who had previously been pale, had now turned white as a ghost as she hesitantly asked, "King...? Are you rea...I mean, at what Stage are you, if I may ask...?" Fenrir had turned her attention to some of the surrounding Mercenaries, sending them warning looks. When she heard the question and was about to answer, a man's voice suddenly rang out through the Guildhall, saying, "Don't ask what you have no need to know. Fill out her paperwork and finalize her registration!"When she heard this loud voice, the Receptionist startled and began quickly moving her hands while exclaiming, "Y-Yes, B-Branch M-M-Master!" Without questioning the girl in front of her any further, the woman began quickly filling out the necessary forms as the man, appearing to be in his late twenties and with stark black hair, walked over with a smile on his face, saying, "It is the honor of our Branch to welcome such a young King into our midst, though, I should perhaps say 'Queen'...?" Since there was a strong Yin aura forming around the young woman before him, even though he couldn't quite sense her cultivation, the Guild Master could easily tell Fenrir was a girl. However, as there was no way of knowing all things under Heaven, any number of surprising existences could appear before you, even what looked like a 13-14-year-old girl that had enough strength to wipe out a small army...For a few seconds, Fenrir remained silent, thinking about the man's words before nodding her head and saying, "Queen. Fenrir." The first word had been directed towards the Branch Master while Fenrir had turned her eyes to the Receptionist for the second. Hearing this, the Receptionist filled out the area for Fenrir's name on a golden Guild Card while the Branch Master laughed in a lighthearted manner. Since he could tell that the girl, Fenrir, wasn't very sociable, he decided it would probably be better if he leaves her be for now.It was more important to research her background right now anyway, especially since he had already known about the event involving the Flame Jade Sect's Fourth Young Master. Ice Elemental Qi wasn't that rare for female Cultivators, but being able to create a pillar of ice that not even the Elders of some Sects could melt was 'exceptionally' rare. He assumed this girl before him previous belonged to a Sect that cultivated Ice and Yin Elemental arts, especially considering the aura following her body...After confirming that all the paperwork was complete, and that the new 'Queen' had her Guild Card, the Branch Master smiled, saying, "By the way, Queen Fenrir, my name is Liang ZhenKang. If anyone in the city gives you trouble, make sure they know you are a member of the Mercenaries Guild. Other than the Inner Disciples of the Heavenly Moon Sect, most of the other Sects should give our branch face. If not, well, I'm sure you can handle yourself..." Having seen the murderous glint in the young girl's eyes, the Branch Master pitied the idiots that tried to pick a fight with her. She might have registered as a King but he, at the 4th Stage of Core Formation, couldn't even see through her cultivation realm...it was starting to look like a storm had come to the Heavenly Moon City...or perhaps a Blizzard?(Fenrir's Commentary: 'Queen...I wonder if Master would be proud of me...?')
