Realizing what she was doing, Rukia rose to a seated position, adopting an apologetic frown as she said, "You surprised me..."
Shrugging his shoulders, Ohta remarked, "Spontaneity is the spice of a healthy relationship. As I said before, I'm not going to suddenly pounce on you. Even if you egg me on, I know when to stop..."
Emphasizing his point, Ohta turned away from Rukia, asking, "Want some more cocoa? I also have tea, but only black."
